Scenic landscape about Stiniva bay in vis island
ABOUT

Closed to foreigners until 1989 due to its use as a military base, the distant island of Vis is relatively wild and unspoiled. Built around wide harbors, the main towns are popular among yachters, who appreciate the island's rugged nature, unpretentious fish restaurants, and excellent locally produced wine.

The pretty fishing village of Komiža is 11 km (7 miles) from Vis Town. Here you're just a 40-minute boat ride away from the Modra špilja (Blue Cave), often compared to the Blue Grotto on Italy's Capri.
