Visit Olhão’s Mercado dos Pescadores (Fish Market) and you’ll see why this town is synonymous with fish. Modern construction has marred much of its charm, but the fishing port (the Algarve’s largest) is still a colorful glimpse of the past. It's become something of an artists' colony, and sights like the Olhão Art Walls are well worth a look.
