Page
Built in 1957 as a Glen Canyon Dam construction camp, Page is now a tourist spot and a popular base for day trips to Lake Powell; it’s also become a major point of entry to Horseshoe Bend Trail and Navajo Nation's Antelope Canyon. At the nearby Vermilion Cliffs, the endangered California condor has been successfully reintroduced into the wild. The town’s human population of about 7,600 makes it the largest community in far-northern Arizona, and each year more than 3 million people come to play at Lake Powell.
