Atwater Village

Alongside nearby Glassell Park and Cypress Park, Atwater Village is one of the seven neighborhoods that make up the Northeast Los Angeles region, christened NELA by some locals. While it mostly mirrors the former two neighborhoods’ predominantly residential status, it also swaggers with Los Feliz’s upmarket hip vibe. The main thoroughfares of Glendale and Los Feliz boulevards are paved with neighborhood bars, elevated restaurants, and independent coffee shops, not to mention smart boutique shops touting artisanal goods.
