ABOUT
Jamestown supplies a touristy view of life during the two gold rushes in these parts. The first took place in the 1850s, the second in the 1880s. Shops in brightly colored buildings along Main Street sell antiques and gift items. You can try your hand at panning for gold in Jamestown or explore a bit of railroad history.
