With one of the largest tasting rooms in San Diego, this microbrewery offers tastings at its out-of-the-way locale in the Miramar area. Try AleSmith's popular Speedway Stout, brewed in various editions ranging from peanut butter and maple bar to German chocolate and coffee.

Cutwater is best known for its more than 20 flavors of canned cocktails, including a Lime Margarita, Vodka Mule, and Rum Mint Mojito. Their tasting room and kitchen in Miramar is a full-service restaurant and bar with mixed drinks, neat pours, and tasting flights. 

Considered the nation’s largest air show,  this annual event features aerial acts, military demonstrations, immersive experiences, and static displays. You can even tour vintage aircraft and get the experience of soaring high in one of the on-site simulators. The event is usually held in September or October.

Founded in 2017, Seven Caves does small-batch rum, gin, and whiskey plus canned tiki cocktails. Tastings are available.

Societe’s tasting room offers a prime view of their barrel room and brewing facility. Though you can’t go wrong with The Pupil IPA, cider lovers shouldn’t miss the Vagabond with raspberry and hibiscus. The Harlot Belgian blonde ale is used to marinate the juicy carnitas served at their food truck, Chachos Tacos, open Tuesday through Sunday.
