ABOUT
The 56,000-acre Valley of Fire State Park was dedicated in 1935 as Nevada's first state park. Valley of Fire takes its name from distinctive coloration of its rocky landscape, which ranges from lavender to tangerine to bright red, giving the vistas along the park road an otherworldly appearance.
