Along the western reaches of the Gila, your best bets for dining and lodging are in the towns of Gila, Glenwood, Alma, Mogollon, and Reserve—all on (or just off) U.S. 180/NM 12. If you're venturing up to the Cliff Dwellings, consider spots in Pinos Altos or Gila Hot Springs, both along NM 15.
