High Falls

The tiny hamlet of High Falls is a weekender's delight where cool shops, old buildings, excellent restaurants, and cozy places to stay nestle beside the ancient locks of the Delaware and Hudson Canal. You can see some of the locks right in town; a brochure (available at the D&H Canal Museum) outlines a walking tour. In fall, pick your own apples or taste freshly pressed cider at one of the local orchards.
