ABOUT
Roslyn, at the head of Hempstead Harbor, has an attractive downtown, popular restaurants, trendy boutiques, and charming residential areas. It's also the site of approximately 100 pre–Civil War buildings. However, its tree-lined Main Street and quiet family life have not escaped some of the ill effects of urbanization. Traffic and parking are problems here, as they are in most of Nassau County today.
