Inn at Manzanita
Shore pines around this 1987 Scandinavian structure give upper-floor patios a tree-house feel, and it's just half a block from the beach. Filled with light-color woods, beams, and glass, all rooms have decks, some have skylights, and three rooms are designed with families in mind (and have sleeper sofas and kitchenettes). In winter, it's a great place for storm watching.
