Throughout the day, this eclectic art-filled café with a sunny brick patio is Manzanita's favorite spot for a caffeine pick-me-up, featuring coffee from Cannon Beach's famed Sleepy Monk roastery, as well as casual lunches of meatloaf sandwiches and oyster po'boys. But the owners offer a first-rate beverage program and exceptional, locavore-focused handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and creative seafood fare, including pappardelle with Willapa Bay clams and agnolotti filled with wild mushrooms, nettles, and Taleggio cheese.

One of the best features of this cheerful café in sleepy Nehalem village, just down the road from Manzanita, is that the kitchen offers just about anything you might be in the mood for at breakfast and lunch, from fancy egg dishes and comforting cinnamon French toast to Cobb salads and burgers on homemade brioche buns—it's a remarkably varied menu for such a small place.
