Mexican Hat

Mexican Hat
ABOUT

The tiny town of Mexican Hat lies on the north bank of the San Juan River. Named for a nearby rock formation, which you can't miss on the way into town, this is a jumping-off point for two geological wonders: Utah's Goosenecks and Arizona's Monument Valley. The latter, stretching south into Arizona, is home to generations of Navajo farmers, and is very recognizable as the backdrop for many old Westerns.
