2 Best Bars in Moab, Moab and Southeastern Utah

Background Illustration for Nightlife

Moab’s nightlife can be pretty quiet, especially in winter. In high season, live bands perform every weekend.

Woody's Tavern

A staple with Moab locals and visitors alike, Woody's is a unpretentious spot to grab a cold beer in the center of town. The bar's exterior has a Wild West saloon flavor (complete with a fake front), and its interior is more modern but downhome, with pool tables, foosball, and a long wooden bar where you can order a domestic or craft Utah brew. It often hosts karaoke and live music, too. Expect big crowds during Moab's busiest times, especially the Easter Jeep Safari.

World Famous Woody's Tavern

An old-school style tavern that's a favorite hangout for locals, this Main Street standby offers beer, bands, and a little bit of ruckus. The front porch still looks like a perfect place to ride up and secure a horse, and there is a great patio.
