Small-town yarn shops are as scarce as hen's teeth, and this one is especially sweet. Run by sisters Cathy and Rosie, it offers a wide selection of beautiful yarn, from fancy to simple, as well as needles, finished pieces, jewelry, and books. If you're sticking around the area for a while, you can sign up for a class or attend the weekly group knit night.

A Moab landmark since the 1950s, this is as close as you'll get to a department store for more than 100 miles. Besides pharmacy and drugstore items, you can buy forgotten camping supplies, swimsuits, hats, sunglasses, souvenirs, and almost anything else. The pharmacy section is closed on weekends.
