Highland Center for the Arts
Greensboro has an innate creative energy, and this multifaceted arts center puts it on display. An open-air gallery hosts larger-than-life sculptures from artists such as Bread and Puppet Theater founder Peter Schumann. Snowshoe its trails in winter; in summer, it becomes a nine-hole mini golf course. In the indoor gallery, rotating exhibits highlight Vermont artists. The center is also home to a café and a 300-seat theater, which hosts performing arts and community events.
