Pinedale's first lodging opened in 1929 as seven cabins and a washhouse; a major remodel was completed in 2021 to bring it up to speed. A lot has changed in town since 1929, but the Log Cabin Motel has been the one constant. The Log Cabin Motel consists of 10 two-room cabins and 3 one-room cabins geared toward families and solo travelers. Dogs are also welcome.

Huge pine trees surround this 1933 log home filled with the owner's family antiques. Downstairs there's a sitting room where you can relax with a book or chat with other guests. The master bedroom, with a fireplace, private bathroom, and private entrance, is also on the ground floor. Two of the upstairs bedrooms share bathroom facilities; the other two have private bathrooms, and one has a wood-burning fireplace. The suite has a kitchenette.

Gannett Peak Lodge

Originally used as barracks for the Civilian Conservation Corps when they were building South Pass, the rooms at Gannett Peak Lodge are now a haven for budget-minded travelers and digital nomads. A full renovation was completed in 2017 to bring the property into the 21st century, and air-conditioning was added in 2023. All rooms and suites have kitchenettes and share on-site laundry.

Lakeside Lodge

Modern cabins at this year-round lakeside resort have gas fireplaces, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, full baths, and a kitchen or kitchenette, as well as access to a full range of activities and a good restaurant in the main lodge building. Pastimes at this jewel of the Wind River Range include boating, fishing, camping, and hiking. Trout, whitefish, and mackinaw await anglers and ice fishers, too. The lake has a beach where kids can build sandcastles, and everyone can enjoy canoeing, waterskiing, and inner tubing. The lodge also rents out boats, side-by-side UTVs, kayaks, and paddleboards. The lakeside resort area is open from June to mid-September.
