Caesarea

City
Caesarea is a town in Israel, the ancient port city. It is located between Tel Aviv and Haifa, near the city Hadera.
ABOUT

The Phoenicians discovered it, and the Romans fell in love with it: Caesarea is most famous for its intriguing Roman, Byzantine, and Crusader ruins, but also offers a stroll through artists’ galleries, an underwater archaeological park, and culinary delights. This popular tourist center juxtaposes a vibrant past and bustling present. Near the archaeological site is the well-to-do community of Caesarea, a group of homes on the sea. Here you'll find the Ralli Museum and the famed Roman aqueduct.
