The Best Hotel in Herzliya Pituach, Tel Aviv

Background Illustration for Hotels

Don't want to stay in a city? Herzliya Pituach is a resort area 12 km (7½ miles) up the coast from Tel Aviv. It has a number of beachfront hotels, a public square with outdoor cafés that’s a short walk from the beach, and a marina and adjacent Arena Mall with a selection of high-end shops, restaurants, and pubs. The area has a cosmopolitan air, as affluent suburbanites live here, along with diplomats and foreign journalists. A car is useful, but it's possible to get around with taxis; parking in Tel Aviv is a challenge.

The northernmost hotel on the strip overlooking the water is a good budget accommodation option, if a little far from the neighborhood's shopping and dining. Rooms here are cozy and decorated in earth tones, and several face the garden near the outdoor seawater pool. The hotel caters to a wide variety of guests, including tour groups. An activities club for kids runs during the summer months.
