Cinnamon and Cherry
This pretty café run by a Turkish-Tasmanian couple sits footsteps from the river and in the center of the town of Franklin. It's one of the loveliest places to stop for a snack on your road trip through the valley. The walls are decorated with prints of fruit and vegetables as well as shelves lined with goods for sale, such as rose jam, fringed cotton towels, and colorful Turkish tea sets. The takeaway breads and pastries are baked freshly each day, but it's also worth sitting down at one of the rustic wooden tables for a hearty breakfast of free-range sukuklu eggs, which are baked with Turkish sausage, parsley, and capsicum.
