Grenada's nightlife consists mainly of live music at resort hotels, a dinner theater in the countryside, a very popular street party, and a handful of nightspots. During the winter season, some resorts present a steel band or other local entertainment several nights a week.
On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights, you can hear disco, soca, reggae, and international pop music from 10 until the wee hours. There may be a cover charge of EC$10 to EC$30, depending on the entertainment, although admission is often free.
You'll mingle here with partygoers who are mostly local, mostly young, and mostly hip.
An immensely popular meeting place, especially for college students, Junction offers good music, cold beer, and good food Wednesday through Saturday nights. It's the place to be for open mic and karaoke nights on Wednesday, and for party time with DJs and live music on Friday and Saturday. Junction is next door to the West Indies Brewery Co.
Enjoy craft ales, bitter, porter, or cider brewed on-site at the tiny West Indies Beer Company. Awarded Grenada's first new brewery license in 50 years, the brewery itself is in the backroom of the bar and beer garden. Drinks are served from the tap in ice-cold mason jars. A favorite hangout of university students and vacationers alike, the beer garden is open daily from 7 am to 2 am.
