Marina di Praia

Just east of Praiano, the scenic hamlet of Marina di Praia is nestled by the sea at the bottom of a dramatic chasm. This is the only anchorage along this rocky stretch surrounding Praiano where you can hire a boat and dock it and enjoy a comfortable day at the beach. With its long-lost fishing village atmosphere, scenic setting, and beautiful beach for swimming, it's a great spot to take a break while driving along the Amalfi Coast. Don't miss its year-round nativity scene, nestled within cliffs above a small beach. It also has some excellent seafood restaurants, a hotel, and a tiny church. The legendary disco, L'Africana, is tucked away on a pretty, winding path along the sea.
