It can be noisy around Leidseplein, but sometimes it pays to be centrally located, and many of the hotels here have historical charm. The square is surrounded by bars and offers leafy shade in the summer and an ice-skating rink in the winter, while the pretty Vondelpark is a stone’s throw away.
