Museum Rotterdam '40-'45 NU
Museum Rotterdam's collection covers 10,000 years of local history, from prehistoric times to the current day, but for now its main city center exhibition space is closed indefinitely due to a lack of funding. As a worthy alternative, however, this permanent exhibition beside Coolhaven metro station presents a multimedia experience depicting life in the city during the war years. It includes a sobering re-creation of what it was like to live through a bombing raid.
