Opened in 2021, the "Bridge of Iron" hotel offers luxurious accommodations next to the iconic Dom Luis I Bridge, complete with a wine bar, dipping pool, and sun terrace with spectacular views. Part of the portfolio of Spanish chain Vincci, the hotel occupies a complex of grand buildings on the waterfront, impressing with its high-end designer touches like monochrome tiles and a high ceiling in the lobby. There's a good wine bar and restaurant, a modern fitness center, and a small outdoor pool, but the crowning glory is the terrace bar, which has magnificent views over that famous bridge and across the river to Porto.
