With a strict, secret location, Hanky Panky is one of Mexico City’s few Prohibition-era-style speakeasies. Award-winning mixologists come and go from here to highlight their specialties abroad, while always bringing something back with them. Reservations are required, and when you arrive, you’ll have to ask around (as in up and down the block) in order to find the entrance—it's part of the charm. Inside is dark, with leather booths and a 10-seat bar. Then, at night, you meet Lenox, a tucked away, acoustically ideal live music venue with green leather booths and not a bad seat in the house.
