Fodor's Choice

FODOR’S EXPERT REVIEW

The art-deco design of this Pendry hotel exudes contemporary luxury from the moment you drive into the circular drive. The artwork is exquisite, including a steel and glass Portal Icosahedron sculpture by Anthony James. Even though the hotel is filled with eye-popping art, the hotel's true standout feature is the rooftop restaurant Merois, helmed by world-famous chef Wolfgang Puck. Guest rooms and Merois have glorious views of the Hollywood Hills and West Hollywood below. Modern in-room amenities include hardwood flooring, comfortable beds, and marble bathrooms. Everywhere you look, you'll find a nice surprise: there's the 100-seat live music venue, a bowling alley/bar, a champagne vending machine, and Cadillacs that you can just take out for a complimentary spin around town. This is a pet-friendly hotel. The fee is $150 per pet during your stay.
