North Park

Named for its location north of Balboa Park, this evolving neighborhood is home to an exciting array of restaurants, bars, and shops. The stretch of Ray Street near University Avenue is home to several small galleries, as well as the Ray at Night art walk, held the second Saturday of each month. Just around the corner on University Avenue lies the stunning 1920s-era North Park Theatre. Beer enthusiasts won't want to miss the breweries and tasting rooms along the 30th Street Beer Corridor, dubbed “Beer Boulevard,” for a chance to sample San Diego's famous ales.
