All hail Victor Drai, classiest of Vegas nightlife sultans. The wild scene inside this after-hours titan is closer to a dance club or a rave than to a lounge, even though its four rooms with two music formats are as gorgeous as any lounge in town. The vibe of decadence can reach an extraordinary pitch, but this, of course, is exactly how an after-hours club should be, right? Besides, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful insider crowd anywhere within the city limits.

If you're lucky enough to find this bar, which is in an old garage off Commerce Street in the Arts District, you will be rewarded with some of the best cocktails in Las Vegas. Nightly selections are written on brown butcher paper and hung from a clothesline behind the bar. Depending on when you visit, the options may range from a drink that mimics blueberry pie to a horchata milk punch. The bar has an inventive selection of non-alcoholic drinks, too. Perhaps the only downside is the hipster factor; on weekends, even the coolest of guests may feel like they're not cool enough.

Should you happen to be Downtown, head over to Downtown Container Park and sit inside a shipping container to sip barrel-aged cocktails and whiskeys galore. Although tiny—it's sometimes tough to nab a spot at the bar—this little railroad car of a drinking spot packs a punch with a well-crafted menu of drinks. Can't decide on a whiskey? Order a flight. Want to try something truly special? Order a taste of one of the bar's barrel-aged bourbons.

Fresh off his success at Esther's Kitchen, Chef James Trees in late 2024 opened this Arts District cocktail bar on the site of an old auto repair shop. Inside, the drinks have a notably French flair—many incorporate absinthe. On warm nights, the open-air patio is one of the best spots in town. Be sure not to miss the opportunity to purchase a padlock and affix it to the chain link fence near the rest rooms.

There's nothing better than a feel-good story in Las Vegas. Sisters Pamela and Christina Dylag saved and scrimped to open this great, velvet-lined cocktail lounge dotted with furniture they found at vintage shops and equipped with beer taps that look like hands. Two different new-ish immersive patio experiences create a true "Alice in Wonderland" vibe. A great cocktail list with a vintage feel and punches are just some of the treasures behind the bar. Regular Wednesday specials mean a number of wines are available for $5 per glass.

Who knew you could have an alibi almost all night long in Las Vegas? This cocktail lounge offers just that—it's open until 3 am Fridays and Saturdays, 2 am other nights. Offering bottle service and DJ entertainment Thursday through Sunday, as well as a creative cocktail list, Alibi is perhaps best suited to those who want a VIP-style experience without waiting in a long line or shelling out extravagant prices.

Bleau Bar is right there in the middle of things, surrounded by casino action on all sides. The showpiece of the space is a massive chandelier made of thousands of long (long!) geometric crystals; look up at the end of one and you’ll see each is shaped like the resort’s iconic bow tie. Bleau is a cigar-friendly bar; you can bring your own or choose from the cigar menu. And maybe indulge in a Lucky Heist, with Mount Gay Eclipse rum, cassis, lime, guava, and soda water. Bleau is open 24/7.

It's in a shopping mall eight minutes from the Strip (by taxi), but we won't hold that against the Blue Martini, because it's still pretty cool. The cream of local bands plays here, an attractive blue interior curves from room to room, and the cocktail menu is impressive (the signature martinis are served in the shaker). Also, there's a legendary happy hour from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Best of all, hordes of the kind of people you'll want to meet (that is, sexy non-tourists of all genders) keep pouring in.

The inventive cocktails snag the spotlight at this hidden gem tucked away off the lobby at The Cromwell. Try the Bunny Bubbles, with Benedictine liqueur, raspberry puree, pomegranate juice, and sparkling wine, or one of the extensive collection of bourbons, Scotch, and other whiskeys (and whiskys) from all over the world. There's also a selection of light bites.

Ancient statues, tapestry-covered walls, pirated Mississippi road signs—the Foundation Room gets high marks for eclectic aesthetic appeal. Though membership is encouraged and comes with perks, this secluded subsidiary of the House of Blues is open to everyone seven nights a week, provided you're willing to wait in line. Reserve in advance for a reduced cover charge. The venue itself is a series of rooms, each with its own set of design themes and type of music that could range from Top 40 hits to house, depending on the night.  A main attraction is the view of the Strip; because the club is on the 43rd floor, it provides some of the best panoramic vistas of the entire town, but the views come with a hefty cover charge.

The W Las Vegas gives its classy lobby lounge a moniker that goes with its theme: the 32nd president. Bourbons, whiskeys, and barrel-aged drinks are specialties here, so belly up, let the soft music and tiny twinkling lights help you relax, and ask the bartender to prep you a little something, maybe from the Woodford Reserve barrel service (and yes, you can keep the barrel). What's more, since it's a lobby lounge, there's no cover.

The sleek, sophisticated Gatsby’s is known for its vintage and rare Champagnes and classic and artisanal cocktails, including the Champagne Bubble Bath for two (on the secret menu), which is muddled blood orange with Aperol, gin, sparkling wine, and strawberry and rose syrup. And it comes complete with a rubber ducky. Every first Friday brings the Return of the Gatz, a 1920s-theme party with music and dancing.

Gin is the specialty of the house at Juniper, which is named after one of the berries used to flavor the spirit; in fact, it has the largest selection of gin in Las Vegas. But thirsty patrons can get just about any craft cocktail they wish at this Park MGM lounge. The menu features a curated cocktail program using house-made juices and syrups alongside an expertly selected spirits menu, and there's a special game-day cocktail menu, too.

Circles are a big theme at this lounge that fronts Koi restaurant. The motif is repeated in the ceiling and in light patterns projected on the walls, plus the circular banquettes that are great for big groups and lousy for small ones. Be sure to visit during happy hour from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, when mixologists oblige by offering signature drinks for reasonably discounted prices.

This serenely styled lounge is quite literally at the center of the action in Bellagio. It's smack-dab in the middle of the casino floor, which you can view through windows on two sides. Community-style ottomans lend themselves to conversation. At the bar, expert mixologists pour cocktails made with seasonally fresh ingredients. There's live entertainment from 9 pm to 2 am, Tuesday and Thursday, and 7 to 11 pm, Friday and Saturday. DJs spin Friday and Saturday from 11 pm until the venue closes around 3 am.

Did you ever think you'd be wearing a winter parka in the Las Vegas desert? If not, then you've underestimated just how creative these 21st-century bars can be. Don the parka provided by minus5°, pay attention to your orientation speech, buy those drink tickets, and step into the Ice Bar, where the temperature is always 5 below zero Celsius (23 Fahrenheit). This frosty clime ensures that you'll have a "cool" time here, but it also keeps the walls, bar, cocktail glasses, chairs, couches, and decorative sculpture in their frozen-solid state. Expensive fun for the sheer weirdness of it? Definitely! The drinks are tasty, too. Kids 7 to 12 are welcome before 9 pm, as long as they come with an adult. Cocktail bars in Las Vegas have lots of varying vistas, but few can equal this one, which, appropriately, overlooks the Wynn resort’s Lake of Dreams. The very swanky but very inviting indoor-outdoor Press features firepits with seating overlooking the private pool at the Four Seasons, cooled off by misters in the hotter months—and it's open until 11 pm (midnight on weekends). Like everything at the upscale resort, the libations and accompanying bites are near perfection. Live music is offered during Press Play from 5 to 8 pm Thursdays. Free high-speed Internet and access to digital newspapers and magazines from 100 countries highlight the complimentary services at this lobby bar that doubles as a coffee shop by day.

Since it's part of The Mob Museum, you may wish to think of The Underground as an immersive and interactive exhibit on Prohibition-era speakeasies. Memorabilia from the 1920s abounds. Period music plays all night long. But it also functions as a working bar, with hand-crafted cocktails, drink specials, and serious bartender sass. There’s even a distillery in a back room—The Underground distills and serves its own special-edition moonshine, and visitors can take guided tours. Admission to the museum gets you in for free, but if you aren’t visiting the museum, check the bar’s Instagram account for the nightly password to give the bouncer at the back door. And be sure to check out some of the secret meeting rooms; one is hidden behind a big painting.

The Chandelier Bar may be The Cosmopolitan's cocktail-venue claim to fame, but you shouldn't overlook the sleek Vesper Bar, the true mixologist space at the hotel. Name an ingredient, any ingredient, and the talented staff behind the bar can come up with a drink for you. Long-forgotten cocktail recipes are a specialty at this very modern square bar sitting alongside hotel registration.

Different cityscapes ranging from sunset in Hong Kong to night in Dubai to evening in New York City change on huge screens (so you can order a Manhattan while you're looking at Manhattan) that make up the background at this lounge, which offers specialty drinks like a pineapple mule.
