Bite Tahoe

$$$ Fodor's Choice

The strip-mall location and offhand, mildly industrial decor of this "American tapas" haven scarcely hint at the artistry involved in transforming comfort-food staples into tantalizing small bites. The chefs frequently change up the preparations, but deviled eggs topped with crispy prosciutto, lobster sliders, arugula and kale salad, pork ribs with Korean barbecue or tamarind chipotle honey sauce are typical of the two dozen items that pair well with specialty cocktails on a creative par with the cuisine.

The Bedford by Martha Stewart

$$$$ | Center Strip

The doyenne of domesticity and queen of all things culinary opened her first restaurant in late 2022 at Paris Las Vegas, and the raves just keep on coming. It’s named for her beloved New York farmhouse and designed to evoke a farmhouse-to-table ethos, with clean-lined rustic furniture and a plethora of plants along the boulevard that winds through the resort. Some carp about the high price of the roasted chicken for two (a half-chicken for one also is available), but in the next breath proclaim it the best extant. Big Martha’s Pierogis are here among many of Martha’s favorites, and in an only-in-Vegas touch, you can get them topped with golden osetra caviar. There’s also a four-course prix-fixe menu of the classics, and a selection of specialty cocktails (along with beers and wines) that include the Martha-tini and two Martha-ritas. Brunch is served Friday through Sunday.

Delilah

$$$$ | North Strip

This supper club in the Tower Suites at Wynn, where guests are advised to dress elegantly (no athletic apparel or flip-flops), evokes a more glamorous era in its decor and menu of classics with elevated twists. The Caesar salad is topped with king crab, the crispy potato pave is served with caviar, and the pigs in a blanket are made with wagyu franks. Beef Wellington for two is made with prime filet mignon and served with black truffle pomme puree, and there are steaks, seafood, and even a burger (though made with dry-aged Angus beef). Close your eyes, listen to the jazz singer, and you may just be transported to Las Vegas showrooms of the 1950s. A late-night menu is served after 11 pm.

Primrose

$$ | South Strip

The sunlit Primrose perfectly reflects the all-about-nature theme of Park MGM and is a great place to stop for a quick morning coffee or pressed juice, a bountiful breakfast, or brunch or sparkling rosé all day (or at least until 2 pm). Breakfast is fairly traditional, with the likes of seasonal brioche French toast or lobster eggs Benedict, with soups, salads, sandwiches, and burgers later on.

Sage Leaf

$$

Chefs emphasizing sustainably and humanely raised local ingredients prepare three squares a day at this storefront restaurant with a contemporary interior and a shaded patio out front. The house-made sage-and-cheddar biscuits are the must-try for breakfast, and the ⅓-pound burger with bacon and fried egg is a village favorite for lunch; pasta dishes, pork chops, steaks, and pan-roasted fish are top dinner choices.

Veranda

$$ | South Strip

If the weather's fine, decamp to the Veranda's poolside terrace for breakfast, lunch, or weekend brunch, or stay indoors, where the feeling is airy and light. The Four Seasons is probably the only place you'll find eggs cocotte on the breakfast menu, or you can go luxe with eggs and caviar or more plebian with good ol' bacon and eggs. There's a brunch buffet from 8 to 1 on weekends. For lunch, consider a bluefin tuna Nicoise salad, or mushroom ravioli with cheese fondue.
