Take some time to "eat, shop, and learn" (their tagline) at this vast Italian marketplace, an Italian grocery and food hall that occupies the main entrance to Park MGM. What are you eating, shopping, and learning about? Classes such as "hands-on tiramisu" enable guests to pay for a learning experience with some of Eataly's great Italian chefs. Perhaps the highlight of Eataly is a gift shop and market that sells a variety of goods imported straight from the motherland. But visitors may be more interested in the Cucina del Mercato, numerous food stalls that serve everything from wine and cheese to meats, pizza, pasta, gelato, and Italian pastries. Other highlights, mi amore? Dine at Toscano Ristorante & Bar or La Pizza & La Pasta, eyeball a replica of the famous bull mosaic in Milan (said to bestow good luck); drink wine poured "on tap"; sample the goodies at the Nutella counter (serving crepes, cookies, and croissants); and even purchase souvenir poker chips (sporting symbols of espresso, gelato, pizza, and Parmigiano Reggiano). 

The frontage of this fashion-devoted mall is dominated by The Cloud—a giant, oblong disc that looms high above the entrance. Ads and footage of the mall's own fashion events are periodically projected across the expanse of this ovoid screen. Inside, the mall is sleek, spacious, and airy—a nice change from some of the claustrophobic casino malls. The mall delivers on its name: fashion shows are staged in the Great Hall on an 80-foot-long catwalk that rises from the floor (on select weekends). Although you can find many of the same stores in the casino malls, there's a smattering of different fare, such as Drybar, which specializes in blowouts; Calzedonia Italian Legwear; the LEGO store; and shops specializing in tailoring and purse and hat cleaning. Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy's, Dillard's, and Forever 21 serve as the mall's anchors. Along with an airy food court, dependable chains, including The Capital Grille, Maggiano's, Benihana, and California Pizza Kitchen, offer sit-down dining. There's even a Hello Kitty Café. Or stop at the Capital One Cafe; maybe you'll see Jennifer Garner!

Amazing ambience, architecture, and design means visitors won't have to drop a single dime to enjoy touring this highly accessible mid-Strip mall. Leave the high heels at home to better roam the three levels of restaurants and retail—some paths are cobblestoned—that resemble an ancient Roman streetscape, with scattered statuary, immense columns and arches, two central piazzas with ornate fountains, and a cloud-filled ceiling-sky that changes from sunrise to sunset over the course of three hours (to subconsciously spur shoppers to step up their pace of acquisition, perhaps?).  The Mitsubishi-designed freestanding Spiral Escalator is a must-ride for the view.

Of course, shopaholics will rejoice at the selection of designer shops and traditional standbys, from high-end heavy hitters, such as Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Fendi, Michael Kors, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, and Balenciaga, to more casual labels like Nike, Guess, Lids, and Brighton. Men's styles abound at Tom Ford, John Varvatos, Ralph Lauren, and Canali. Gaze at stunning jewelry, watches, and crystal works at Baccarat, Swarovski, Breitling, Tiffany & Co., Pandora, Hublot, and David Yurman. Apple offers a whole host of electronics. And don't forget to get the perfect keepsake from Field of Dreams. Saks Off Fifth and a giant Nike store anchor the mall, and a Cheesecake Factory restaurant offers a good place to have lunch. Three parking garages afford easy access to the mall but tend to fill up quickly; valet parking is available in the main garage.

Two levels of opulent boutiques, restaurants, and artistic flourishes are housed within the dramatic steel-and-glass structure that envelops The Shops at Crystals shopping venue on the Aria Campus. True to its gleaming facade, scads of swanky designer apparel and accessories from fashion's crème de la crème line the clean, minimalist confines within. Touch-screen directories guide you to brands such as Prada, Bulgari, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Stella McCartney, Chanel, and Tom Ford. Louis Vuitton's largest location in the United States is here, with two levels that extend beyond leather goods to include men and women's ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, textiles, ties, and more.

After a long day of shopping, catch dinner at Mastro's Ocean Club (sitting inside a tree house). Afterward, stroll outdoors to cross the Sky Bridge to see the 4-ton sculpture of a blue-and-red typewriter eraser by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.  For a fun way to access The Shops at Crystals, ride the sleek and silent Aria Express, the Campus's free electric tram with a fantastic elevated view of the complex.

Housewares, candles, and other quirky furnishings line the shelves at this tiny Arts District boutique. The shop opened in the beginning of 2024 and immediately became beloved among locals for its "Planty Hour" promotion, during which customers are encouraged to buy pots for plants (or plants for pots) and combine the duos as part of a social event. The shop also is famous for selling paper maché iterations of taxidermied heads.
