Located down Hell's Backbone Road, about 7 miles from Boulder proper, this funky, eco-friendly, rustic ranch features cozy bunk rooms with shared baths for the budget minded, slightly more upscale standard rooms with private baths in the main lodge, warmly appointed cabins with private baths and kitchens, and distinctive yurts for fans of glamping. A ranch-style breakfast buffet is included in the rates in summer; packed lunches to go and sit-down dinners are served in the farm-to-table-inspired Sweetwater Cafe.
