Erawan Thai
In a nondescript but conveniently located shopping center just off the interstate, this excellent Thai restaurant has a cheerful, inviting, rustic-wood interior with paintings, crafts, and canisters of imported tea. The kitchen turns out deftly prepared renditions of classic dishes—chicken satay, tom kha soup—as well as such creative fare as mango-curry fried rice, barbecue chicken in Thai spices, and five different entrées featuring elk.
