2 Best Hotels in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Background Illustration for Hotels

The choice of lodging properties within the park is as diverse as the landscape itself. You'll find simple campgrounds, cabins, and standard motel rooms, but you can also settle into a homey bed-and-breakfast or a luxurious suite in a full-service resort. Between June and August, rates go up and rooms are harder to get unless you make a reservation well ahead of your visit.

Colter Bay Village

$$ | Colter Bay Village Rd., Grand Teton National Park, WY, 83013, USA

A stroll from Jackson Lake, this cluster of Western-style, one- and two-room cabins is close to trails, dining options, a visitor center, and plenty of other activities, but the feel is rustic, and none have a TV, phone, or Wi-Fi. The property has splendid views and an excellent marina and beach for the windsurfing crowd (you'll need a wetsuit because of the cold). There are also camping options: a 114-site RV park as well as tent cabins that share communal baths.

Pros

  • Cabins are pet-friendly
  • Many nearby facilities
  • Close to lake and hiking trails

Cons

  • Not much privacy
  • Cheapest cabins have shared baths
  • Rustic feel won't appeal to everyone
