Located at the base of Snow King Mountain ski area and eight blocks from Town Square, this mid-rise resort with conventional rooms and condo rentals has a modern Western look, a mountainside restaurant, a cycling and ski shop, and outdoor firepits near the beautiful pool. The well-apportioned accommodations are contemporary if conventional, and condos have kitchens, extra bedrooms, and other amenities that make them ideal for families or longer stays. The resort is steps from a plethora of activities including skiing, zip-lining, miniature golf, horseback riding, and hiking. The property also welcomed an on-site spa, with an array of treatments including massages and facials, in early 2023.

No motel in Jackson has a better location—or a bigger hot tub (it seats 25 people)—than this old-school lodging, a block south of Town Square. Many rooms have fireplaces, and a few have jetted tubs, but otherwise they're standard motel rooms. In winter, there's a complimentary ski shuttle.

This simple, two-story motel with clean, warmly furnished rooms stands out for great reason: it's set along a minimally developed stretch of U.S. 26/89/191 that overlooks Flat Creek and the National Elk Refuge. It's also 2 miles north of the bustle of downtown Jackson, making it handy for driving up into Grand Teton National Park. All rooms have bathtubs and most have patios or decks.

With four different slopeside buildings and an array of units including traditional rooms, suites, and lofts, there's something for every style of traveler at this hidden gem ski resort on the west side of the Tetons. Families appreciate the spacious 2-bedroom/2½-bathroom Tower Suites which sleep up to eight, and the Sioux Loft Suites which, despite having just one bedroom and bathroom, sleep seven. While the smaller units don't include frills like a full kitchen, tub, or gas fireplace, they all have boot dryers.  During certain holidays, there may be a three-night minimum.

Modern cabins at this year-round lakeside resort have gas fireplaces, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, full baths, and a kitchen or kitchenette, as well as access to a full range of activities and a good restaurant in the main lodge building. Pastimes at this jewel of the Wind River Range include boating, fishing, camping, and hiking. Trout, whitefish, and mackinaw await anglers and ice fishers, too. The lake has a beach where kids can build sandcastles, and everyone can enjoy canoeing, waterskiing, and inner tubing. The lodge also rents out boats, side-by-side UTVs, kayaks, and paddleboards. The lakeside resort area is open from June to mid-September.

Within walking distance of Town Square, this hotel, formerly known as The Lexington, features modern furnishings and lots of light. An appealing base, it also has some of the town's best-appointed rooms for people with disabilities. An open reception desk, plenty of tall windows, ample sitting space, and a stone fireplace greet guests at check-in. The complimentary all-day hot drink bar and fresh chocolate chip cookies in the evening are nice touches.

More of a motor inn than a lodge, this property (which reopened in 2023 after extension renovations) pays homage to the past with its retro theme, but all the furnishings are brand-spanking-new. It's a sprawling, single-story property (it also has an RV park), but most guests love that they can park right in front of their room. The Virginian Lodge has one of Jackson’s few all-season outdoor pools, and its two oversized hot tubs are a hit with the après ski crowd. The room service menu is pretty limited, but there’s a restaurant on-site serving breakfast and lunch, and a saloon with great beer and even better taxidermy.
