Castelbuono
A beautiful mountain town, Castelbuono is filled with picturesque side streets, stunning views, and lots of small art galleries and artisan stores selling local folk art and gastronomic products to browse. Castelbuono also has the rare privilege of being one of the few places in the world that grows a specific species of ash tree. These trees are the Biblical producers of manna, which fed the Israelites when they were in exile in the desert. Today you can buy sweet, sugary manna, which is actually the sap of the trees.
