39 Best Restaurants in Jackson Hole and Northwest Wyoming, Wyoming

Background Illustration for Restaurants

Northwest Wyoming has many restaurants. Anyplace you go, you’ll find basic Western fare such as steaks, chicken, and burgers; in Jackson there’s a wider selection, with menus listing everything from Mexican and Thai dishes to trout, buffalo, and elk. There are also a few fine-dining establishments in the region. Arguably the best steaks in all of Wyoming are prepared at Svilars', a steak house in the tiny community of Hudson, east of Lander.

Mulino Italian Bistro

$$$

Opened in 2019, Mulino filled a need for casual fine dining in Lander. Its menu isn't massive, but it does include fresh salads with premium ingredients like pickled plum and golden raisin, homemade pasta with a variety of sauces, and a creative seasonal menu. Romantic vibes make it the ultimate local date-night spot.

Pearl Street Bagels

$

In addition to a location in downtown Jackson, there’s a Pearl Street Bagels in this little wooden outpost just off Teton Pass Highway. The coffee and espresso here are always hot, the bagels are usually fresh (ask your barista which flavor came out of the oven last), and most of the spreads are homemade.

1230 Ida Dr., Wilson, WY, 83014, USA
307-739–1261
Known For
  • Homemade soup in the winter
  • Fresh fruit smoothies in the summer
  • Beautiful outdoor sitting area with views of Fish Creek

The Perch Coffeehouse

$

This is where Dubois residents gather most mornings (they have their usual tables) for the town gossip. Although the pastry selection is lacking, it’s not bad considering there’s almost nothing else in town open at 7 am. Most people come for the coffee and espresso, but you can also order tea, fresh fruit smoothies, and Italian sodas.

132 E. Ramshorn St., Dubois, WY, 82513, USA
307-455–2764
Known For
  • Sidewalk tables with great people-watching
  • Coffee beans roasted in-house
  • A relaxed, local vibe (i.e., this isn’t your airport Starbucks)

Spur

$$$$

What Spur lacks in mountain views it more than makes up for with its memorable entrées like flavorful Skuna Bay blackened salmon. That said, it’s not uncommon for diners to fill up on starters and cocktails (both are excellent) and not even make it to their main meal. Recently renovated and located on the first floor of Teton Mountain Lodge, Spur also serves breakfast. With its buffalo bratwurst, the carnivore omelet is a good choice, but you also can’t go wrong with the huckleberry buttermilk pancakes. A retractable glass wall opens onto a patio for the summer months.

3385 Cody La., Teton Village, WY, 83025, USA
307-732–6932
Known For
  • Lively après ski scene where pros like Jake Hopfinger and Parker Costain can be found
  • Loaded grilled cheese featuring three different cheeses
  • Friendly, attentive servers from all over the world

Steadfire Chophouse

$$$$

This posh, and equally pricey, slopeside establishment in the Four Seasons opened in July 2025. While the raw menu boasts a dreamy caviar trio and Wyoming's best attempt at a seafood tower, the melt-in-your-mouth steaks are the real draw here. Opt for the wagyu trio tasting if you want to sample a smattering. Besides beef, you'll also find elk, Idaho trout, Alaska salmon, bison, and pork on the menu. Vegetarians can get by with a risotto or a few sides. While Steadfire Chophouse serves breakfast, too, at eye-popping prices, you’re best saving your budget to splurge at dinner.

  • Wednesday night oyster bar
  • S’mores dessert with homemade graham crackers
  • Steak sauce flights

Streetfood at the Stagecoach

$$

A colorful option for fans of international food, this festive miniature food hall at Wilson's famously rollicking Stagecoach Bar offers well-prepared Mexican, Asian, and American comfort foods. There's a large deck and an expansive lawn with picnic tables for alfresco dining during the warmer months, or you can dine in the lively bar.

The Whistling Grizzly

$$$$

Although the crowd here skews older (think baby boomers, not millennials), this is a restaurant where you go for the food, not the vibe. It’s located inside the Wyoming Inn, so there’s no outdoor space, but it’s a cozy place to dine in the winter, and there’s a full-service bar. The food menu is short at only one page, but it’s still hard to decide between entrees like brown butter diver scallops, pumpkin pasta, and Rocky Mountain elk tenderloin. The restaurant closes early, at 9 pm, but it is open again at 7 am and offers some of the most reasonably priced breakfast entrées in Jackson.

Known For
  • The friendly F&B director is also a certified sommelier
