In a picture-perfect location overlooking beautiful Bonne Bay, this boutique-style inn has spacious rooms and a fine restaurant. The breathtaking view is shown to its full advantage in the large sunroom, which has a library of books and DVDs and a piano for the musically inclined. Rooms, all with fine views, are supremely restful, with top-quality beds, bedding, and good-size modern bathrooms.

This restored 1920s lighthouse now functioning as a B&B is on the small island of Quirpon, a landmass of about 7 km (4 miles) by 1½ km (1 mile), just off the northern tip of Newfoundland. You can take Linkum Tours' regular boat service or be dropped at the near end of the island and walk the 5 km (3 miles) to the inn (your luggage will meet you there). Once there you can stay in the lightkeeper's house, a registered heritage structure, or next door at the 1960s house of the assistant.
