Bellagio Las Vegas
3600 Las Vegas Blvd. S, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89109, USA
Why We Like It
Bellagio was one of the first of the new themed casino resorts, and it still generates the same level of excitement it did when it was brand new. The dancing fountains out front make the hotel a destination for those who aren’t lucky enough to spend the night.
Fodor's Expert Review
The Bellagio has become a symbol of Las Vegas both locally and around the world. The “dancing” Fountains of Bellagio in front of the hotel are synonymous with Vegas grandeur, and they now serve as the backdrop for the awards ceremonies of major sporting events including Formula One. The circa-1998 hotel replicates a mansion on Lake Como, and attractions such as the (free) Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are exquisite. A total of 3,933 rooms are spread across two towers. These accommodations remain among the swankiest on the entire Las Vegas Strip.
PROS
- Beautiful flowers, both live and glass
- Fountains provide the best free show in Las Vegas
- Pool area feels exactly like Italy
CONS
- Corridors can be crowded, especially during conventions
- Not much diversity among shopping options
- Underwhelming fitness center, spa

Room
In keeping with the lakeside theme, rooms at Bellagio are designed with different shades of blue and cream. Tufted sofas offer great vantage points from which to watch the fountains out front. Rooms in the StayWell program feature air purifiers and shower infusers to reduce chlorine.
Bathroom
Mirrors framed with bright lights provide perfect conditions for applying makeup and/or shaving.
Lobby
The lobby at Bellagio is just as spectacular as ever. The centerpiece: “Fiori di Como,” a glass sculpture that hangs from the ceiling. The piece features more than 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers created by artist Dale Chihuly. Bellagio officials estimate that anywhere from 15,000-20,000 people come to the lobby every day just to see the art.
Pool
Topiary sculptures, bright blowers, and spacious villas are among the features of Bellagio’s pool deck. The Como Poolside Café & Bar is a great place to have lunch, and renovations at the end of the 2024 pool season led to the creation of an inviting open-air courtyard.
Spa
Spa Bellagio is a tranquil oasis just off the busy Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The facility comprises a total of 51 treatment rooms, as well as a relaxation balcony overlooking the pool.
Gym
In addition to standard cardio equipment, the fitness center features the Bamboo Studio, a 1,000-square-foot exercise room that hosts classes from Pilates and Body Blast to yoga and boxing.
Dining
Bellagio is home to some of the most popular restaurants on the Strip: Sadelle’s, a New York-style Jewish deli; PRIME Steakhouse, a classic steakhouse from Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten; and Spago, the first of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants in Las Vegas. The Mayfair Supper Club, a contemporary American restaurant that looks out on the Fountains of Bellagio, also features live entertainment that goes late into the night Fridays and Saturdays.
Tip Be sure to visit the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens on multiple visits; the team of on-site horticulturists changes the exhibit five times each year.
Drinking
Petrossian Bar, just off the main lobby, offers cocktails and caviar with a live pianist every day; it is one of the most comfortable spots in all of Las Vegas to unwind and people-watch. The Vault, an unmarked bar behind higher-limit blackjack tables off the main casino pit, brings in world-famous mixologists to pair cocktails with tapas-sized bites from a modest food menu.
Activities
Art lovers flock to the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, a standalone gallery that hosts several exhibits each year. The resort also is home to “O,” the Cirque du Soleil show that revolves around a giant pool of water; a team of 14 rescue-certified master divers works behind the scenes to ensure the safety of the performers every night.
Tip More than half of the Omnia nightclub is outside, so be warned that Strip-facing rooms can get a little loud from the thumping base on weekend nights.
