Caesars Palace
3570 Las Vegas Blvd. S, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89109, USA
Why We Like It
History pairs perfectly with glamour and modern sophistication at this old-school Vegas original. Caesars Palace also is attached to The Forum Shops, one of the biggest and most eclectic shopping malls in all of Las Vegas.
Fodor's Expert Review
This ornate and lavish hotspot opened in 1966, making it one of the oldest remaining resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Since then, the property has undergone several modernizations, and a star turn in movies such as “The Hangover.” Today, each guest’s Caesars Palace experience depends on which of the six towers in which they’re staying; newer accommodations such as the Agustus Tower and the Nobu Hotel are the fanciest, while the circa-1966 Julius Tower has kitsch appeal. Despite its size (3,980 rooms in all), Caesars still has an air of sophistication and service. Consider these high roller vibes.
PROS
- Exciting history, Hollywood cache
- Centrally located for access to all Strip resorts
- Star powered restaurants, barsStar powered restaurants, bars
CONS
- Some rooms showing age

Room
Rooms differ widely depending on the tower. Most incorporate dark hues and furniture intentionally designed to look antique. All rooms have a state-of-the-art technology panel that allows for charging, projecting, and more. Because the resort is so large, some rooms look out on interior courtyards and/or rooftop heating and cooling systems.
You Should Know More than half of the Omnia nightclub is outside, so be warned that Strip-facing rooms can get a little loud from the thumping bass on weekend nights.
Bathroom
Even in some of the tiniest rooms at Caesars Palace, every bathroom has ample counter space; a bonus that makes rooms feel bigger than they already are.
Lobby
The lobby at Caesars Palace is totally over the top in an endearing way. Renovations to the main lobby in 2022 expanded the welcome area. A 15-foot-tall Carrara marble statue of Augustus Caesar welcomes visitors under a new raised ceiling, which features hand-painted illustrations of Roman gods and a chandelier that comprises 70,000 crystals.
Pool
Seven swimming pools over five acres characterize the Caesars Palace pool area, colloquially known as the “Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis.” Pools span three different levels, and each offers something for every member of the family (including swim-up blackjack).
Spa
Qua Baths & Spa opened in 2006 and remains one of the top spas in town. The 51-treatment room facility spans more than 50,000 square feet, and was among the first in Las Vegas to incorporate both a Master Barber and an ice room.
Gym
While the expansive fitness center at Caesars Palace is underwhelming, the gym at the Nobu Hotel has natural light and Peloton bikes.
Dining
On-site, notable choices include Peter Luger steakhouse, the first Luger’s outside of New York City; Amalfi by Bobby Flay, which features fresh fish from Italy; NOBU, on the ground floor of the NOBU Hotel; and Restaurant Guy Savoy, which features the only Krug Chef’s Table in the United States. Off-site but nearby, Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen is a fun way to bring to life the dining experience of the eponymous TV show.
Tip The NOBU restaurant inside Caesars Palace has four teppanyaki tables; book in advance for an elevated Benihana experience.
Drinking
Several bars and lounges inside Caesars Palace are worth a visit. No. 1 on the list: Caspian’s Caviar & Cocktails, a speakeasy live music venue with a creative cocktail program and a menu of small bites. The lush Vanderpump Cocktail Garden is essentially an indoor garden oasis that serves craft cocktails, all from the mind of Reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump.
Entertainment
Caesars Palace also is known for its entertainment. Inside, at the Colosseum, Kelly Clarkson, Jerry Seinfeld, and Rod Stewart are among the big-name performers with residencies in 2025. Out front, from the creative minds of the folks at Spiegelworld, the raucous and adults-only show “Absinthe” unfolds nightly under a red-and-white circus tent. The thumping Omnia nightclub remains one of the Strip’s most popular.
What's Nearby
Getting Around
Caesars Palace is centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip, meaning it’s within walking distance of just about every casino from Mandalay Bay to Fontainebleau. For longer distances, rideshares or taxis are the best bet (see what we did there?).
